![]() ![]() If you just want to restore an error-ridden iPhone/iPod Touch, or reset it, you can turn on iTunes, plug in the device, and on the device's Summary tab click the Restore button.So I have set them both to manual in Services, and when I want to sync my iPod, I simply start them with a shortcut before launching iTunes (target: C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c. ![]() So I want these apple services (Apple Mobile Device & iPod Service) to run on demand, only when I am syncing my iPod with my laptop, which is only every few months.
